These treatments use specialist products which will be selected by the stylist during consultation to compliment your hair type. They can improve overall hair condition revitalising dry, dull, damaged hair. TIGI products can be purchased for use at home to carry on the good work.

Perms – 3hours

Various types are available and we offer a range of alkaline or acid perms. Your stylist will recommend the most suitable type for your hair.

Alkaline Perms

Our range includes Per Form from Wella and Pro Active Professional. These perms will give long lasting beautiful curls which can be as soft or tight as you require. 0r maybe you just want a bit of volume movement? lf so then please ask about Wella Headlines semi perms.

Acid Perms

Our range includes ‘Biolife’ from Goldwell and ‘Acclaim’ from Zotos. These are believed to be less damaging to the hair than alkaline perms – conditioning the hair as they work. Generally not as long lasting as alkaline perms but kinder to the hair. lf your hair is heavily bleached or coloured you may require this type of perm.

Long Hair Perms (Time dependant on consultation)

This type of perm is usually carried out on long hair below shoulder length, Beautiful ringlets are formed from a special winding technique, Alkaline or Acid perm solutions may be used depending on hair type and result required.

Colouring

Whether you would like a complete change of hair colour or merely a quick image boost with a temporary colour, we have a range of colouring treatments suitable for your needs.

Temporary Colouring – 5 minutes and services

Coloured setting lotion or colour mousse can be applied after a service to give you an introduction to colour without commitment. The colour will only last until the next wash but it gives you an idea of the difference a colour can make. They cannot lighten the natural hair colour.

Semi-Permanent Colouring – Between 2 and 3 hours

We use a range of colours from Wella that can be used to camouflage grey hair; enhance your natural hair colour with a fashion shade or are simply a way to try a new look without it being permanent. Also faded, dull hair can be brightened and bleached hair toned down. From Wella we offer Color Touch and Color Fresh semi-permanent colours.

Color Touch is a range of over35 shine intensive shades plus 6 Sunlight shades to give a sunkissed look. Color touch is ideal for striking effects, first-time color clients and for disguising the first signs of grey. Color Touch gives conditioned vibrant color brilliance with even more shine, Keratin evens out damaged areas, conditioning waxes produce fabulous shine and the unique shine-reflex pigments absorb easily into the hair.

Color Fresh is a conditioning liquid semi-permanent colour that includes 13 shades lasting up to 10 shampoos. Whilst Color fresh Silver enhances grey and white hair lasting up to 6 washes and is available in 3 shades.

Please bear in mind that semi-permanent colours can not lighten the hair.

Permanent Colouring – From 2 hours 30 mins

Whether you want to be a cool blonde or fiery redhead, if you are willing to make the commitment to permanent colour we have the colour for you from the Koleston Perfect range by Wella; over 80 intermixable shades to fulfil every colour desire. You can have a completely new look or simply keep that grey hair covered- the choice is yours. Because these colours are permanent, regrowth will be noticeable as new hair grows through s0 you will need to return regularly to the salon to keep your colour at its best.

Highlights / Lowlights – From 2hours

Various techniques can be used to add varying amounts of colour or colours to the hair. These techniques will enhance y0ur natural hair colour adding vibrancy and movement. 0ne or moie colours can be used depending.9n the result you require. Ask about the great fashion colours from Wella. These colours can be left to grow out”naturally or maintained with regular treatments. Ihe technique most suitable for you will be discussed during consultation.

Please note that the price for chemical treatments (perms and colour) that are carried out on longer hair (below shoulderi) is dependant on the amount of product used. Your stylist will be able to advise vou on this.

Skin Test

The skin test involves a small dot of colour being placed behind the ear. ldeally the dot of colour should be left in plaie for 24 hours. lf during this time or after y0u experience any iriitation and redress please remove the dot immediately. lf the iiritation persists seek medical advice and, please also, inform us. Skin tests can only be conducted 48 hours prior to having the colour service you have chosen.

Please note that for Health and Safety Reasons a skin test is required prior to all permanent colouring and semi-permanent colouring. This is to protect you from the consequences of an allergic reaction. We now stock and sell colourstart skin test patches for home use.
